THE STORY

Rain creates opportunities in automotive photography that sunny days can't match. When this client approached me at a local Dallas car meet about photographing his 2015 Mustang GT, we deliberately waited for the right weather conditions. As a Rockwall-based automotive photographer, I've learned that Texas weather can be your greatest creative tool. The 5.0 Coyote engine under the hood deserved proper documentation, and the moody atmosphere created by the overcast sky and wet pavement added drama that bright sunshine never could. The rain brought out the depth in the paint, created natural reflections, and gave the entire scene a cinematic quality that elevated this Mustang beyond typical car show photography.
